The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee electrical operations within our facility. This role involves managing a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing electrical systems for efficiency and reliability. The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for troubleshooting complex electrical issues, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring all installations meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

 

The Electrical Supervisor will manage the electrical team from job start to completion, the installation of whole home generators, panels, contract management, quality control, identify training opportunities to further educate staff and keep compliance with electrical codes while adhering to safety regulations.

 

  • Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staff.
  • Providing motivation and assistance when necessary.
  • Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff.
  • Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
  • Manages the Electrical material and tool/equipment inventory based on the need of the department.
  • Manages productivity, overtime and material costs 
  • Grow and develop the team through purposeful training initiatives

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

  • Proven work experience as an Electrical Supervisor
  • Nextstar trained on service system—demonstrate a one truck exercise, etc.
  • Advanced experience in-depth knowledge of commercial and residential electrical including high voltage
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Familiarity with state electrical and safety (NEC) codes
